Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Technical Recruiter to join our team in Vancouver, BC. As a key member of our recruitment team, you will be responsible for acquiring top talent for our Software Development, System Engineering, and Production Management departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Full cycle recruitment, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and presenting candidates to hiring managers.
- Establish and maintain a network of candidates within the technology industry, utilizing creative sourcing strategies and online platforms.
- Build relationships with technical professionals and industry leaders to increase our professional network.
- Ownership of sourcing and presenting candidates to technical teams, including pre-screening, creating shortlists, and managing weekly recruitment meetings.
- Management of all recruitment for our Co-op's, Internships, and Apprenticeship Programs for technical departments.
- Establish a pipeline of candidates for open roles, with regular communication and timely delivery of qualified candidates.
- Partner with business leaders to develop recruiting strategies and interview processes.
- Ensure candidates have a positive experience in the recruitment process.
- Represent the studio at recruiting job fairs, school portfolio shows, and other industry events.
Requirements
- 5+ years of recruitment experience, with technical recruiting experience an asset.
- Proactive and able to work independently, as well as part of a team.
- Well-organized, self-motivated, and able to function in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong follow-up skills, with attention to detail.
- Effective time management and organizational skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal, teamwork, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to understand and adapt to rapidly changing priorities.
- Proficiency with Google Apps, Excel, Word, Oracle, and Recruiting Applicant Tracking Systems.
- Strong knowledge of the Canadian immigration process and obtaining work permits is preferred.
What We Offer
Competitive salary range: $66,600/yr to $83,200/yr, with annual incentive and comprehensive benefits, including healthcare, tuition reimbursement, RRSP's, sick and vacation leave, and standard increases as applicable.
