  • University Degree
  • Minimum of 10 years of direct marketing experience in a pharmaceutical context, with progressive leadership roles in marketing pharmaceuticals, medical, or OTC products
  • Familiarity with the Canadian pharmaceutical landscape
  • Understanding of Pricing, Reimbursement, and Market Access within the Canadian pharmaceutical sector
  • Strong project management and analytical capabilities
  • Energetic team player with meticulous attention to detail, capable of working independently and collaboratively
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with social media tools is advantageous
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage workload while multitasking to meet deadlines

  • Ability to grasp both technical and product-related information
  • High energy, self-motivated, results-oriented, with the capacity to lead and inspire change
  • Experience in sales and marketing within the pharmaceutical sector

  • Experience in product launches is a plus

Key Responsibilities

Specific responsibilities encompass:

  • Overseeing the commercial operations of the organization, including Sales, Marketing, and Market Access
  • Collaborating with the Senior Management team to identify and assess strategic opportunities
  • Ensuring all commercial activities are executed in compliance with organizational regulations and policies
  • Leading the creation, production, and delivery of advertising and promotional strategies to enhance marketing effectiveness
  • Developing strategic plans and executing operational marketing initiatives that align with business objectives while working in tandem with other team members
  • Collaborating with team members to ensure product supply consistently meets demand in accordance with Strategic and Operational plans
  • Guiding the Sales team in identifying sales opportunities, participating in Area/Regional meetings, and managing the professional development of the sales team
  • Directing the sales training efforts; ensuring the sales team is equipped with the necessary tools and resources for success
  • Managing the complete lifecycle of the product portfolio from launch to discontinuation
  • Preparing long-term and short-term product sales forecasts and budgets; setting goals for sales, market share, market growth, and profitability
  • Developing and executing strategies to ensure ongoing coverage and reimbursement for existing and new products
  • Overseeing the management and implementation of reimbursement initiatives to align with the organization's strategic market access goals.
