We are currently seeking talented Design Engineers to join our growing team.

Design Engineer - Oil Sands & Renewables Responsibilities
  • Junior Designer: Primarily engaged in equipment engineering design / drafting (discipline specific) – work is supervised in detail. Decisions are made within established guidelines. Exposed to technical standards, regulations and procedures. Working knowledge of codes and regulatory obligations to proactively ensure requirements are incorporated into the design. Working knowledge of 3D modeling software and scanning.
  • Mid-Level Designer: Take on more complex projects with increased autonomy. Mentor junior designers and contribute to team development. Stay abreast of industry advancements and best practices.
  • Senior Designer: Lead design projects, manage teams, and provide technical guidance. Develop innovative solutions and ensure compliance with industry standards. Contribute to the development of company-wide design processes.
Qualifications

We are looking for individuals with a strong foundation in engineering principles and a passion for design. Specific qualifications will vary depending on the level of the position.

Education: A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field is typically required.

Experience: Relevant experience in the oil and gas industry or renewable energy sector is highly desirable.

Skills: Proficiency in 3D modeling software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks), strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
