SUMMARY
We are looking for a dedicated and effective Manufacturing Operations Supervisor to oversee our production team. This role is crucial for ensuring the safety, environmental responsibility, quality, and operational efficiency of the production crew. The Manufacturing Operations Supervisor plays a vital role in maintaining accurate reporting and facilitating the seamless operation of our continuous production processes, all while supporting the achievement of our plant's production objectives safely and efficiently. RESPONSIBILITIESMay include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards.
  • Foster teamwork and build strong relationships.
  • Direct hourly staff and oversee manufacturing operations.
  • Provide technical guidance to shift personnel, including: line setup/operation, metrics definition/reporting, testing, troubleshooting, and training facilitation.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, specifically overseeing safety within the production area.
  • Delegate responsibilities and recognize, develop, train, and utilize the talents and capabilities of all shift personnel.
  • Facilitate safety training and conduct all incident investigations and reporting.
  • Manage production reporting.
  • Represent production in company meetings.
  • Perform any additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Production Superintendent.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND QUALIFICATIONS
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in PVC extrusion manufacturing is required.
  • A positive work history regarding attendance, safety, and job performance is essential.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, administrative, and leadership skills are necessary.
  • Willingness to train the right candidate.
  • A dynamic individual is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products such as Word and Excel is required.
