Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

At CANADA INC., we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant and kitchen facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and implement efficient work schedules to meet the needs of our customers and staff.
  • Requisition and manage food and kitchen supplies to ensure optimal inventory levels.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring high-quality standards are met.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, ensuring accurate ordering and inventory management.
  • Hire and manage food service staff, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent customer service.
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare and submit reports on sales, inventory, and other key performance indicators.
  • Collaborate with the chef to prepare food order summaries and ensure timely delivery of food trolleys.
Requirements:
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1-2 years.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a food service or related role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and maintain attention to detail.
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, walk, and perform other physical demands of the role.
