About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Landscaping Supervisor to join our team at ASJ Landscaping and Snow removal Inc. as a Team Lead. This is a permanent position with a competitive salary and benefits package.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hiring and Supervision: Lead a team of 3-4 staff members, responsible for hiring, training, and supervising them to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
  • Work Planning and Scheduling: Plan and schedule work to ensure efficient use of resources and meet deadlines.
  • Material Management: Requisition and order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
  • Problem-Solving: Resolve work problems by providing technical advice and recommending measures to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate work records and logs.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Language: English is the primary language of communication.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 44 hours per week.
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. They will be required to have attention to detail and be a team player with good judgement and flexibility.
