Pinecrest Remembrance Services Ltd Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Groundskeeping Supervisor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and upkeep of our grounds and facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and schedule staff to ensure efficient and effective grounds maintenance
  • Plan and direct grounds maintenance activities, including landscaping and construction projects
  • Estimate and manage labor and materials for projects
  • Organize and direct construction of decks, walls, and other landscape features
  • Manage and supervise landscape construction work
  • Maintain accurate work records and logs
  • Repair and maintain equipment
  • Procure materials, equipment, and supplies as needed
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 5 years or more of experience in grounds maintenance or a related field
  • Valid driver's license
  • Excellent oral communication skills
  • Initiative and ability to work independently
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. The position requires physical demands, including bending, crouching, and kneeling.
