Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacist to join our team as a Full Time Medication Specialist. In this role, you will provide pharmacy services to three CareRx Pharmacy locations in the Vancouver, Lower Mainland. You will work closely with our team to ensure medication orders are dispensed accurately, safely, and timely.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the pharmacy team to ensure accurate and timely medication dispensing
  • Consult with members of the pharmacy management team on unresolved issues
  • Provide exceptional customer care to CareRx Pharmacy patients
  • Communicate with the resident care team to ensure continuity of care
  • Maintain accurate and organized resident health records
  • Conduct medication regimen/profile reviews and document recommendations
  • Follow provincial and federal laws, standards, and regulations governing pharmacy practice
  • Participate in ongoing continuing education to stay current with pharmaceutical, medical, and professional licensing information

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy, fully licensed in the College of Pharmacists of BC and in good standing
  • Completion of the BCPhA OAT-CAMPP training program
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and interact with other healthcare professionals
  • Experience with Kroll Software
  • Excellent customer service, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Self-directed with minimal supervision and able to work independently
  • Skilled in critical thought processes and able to prioritize appropriately

What We Offer

We offer a competitive hourly rate of $55.00 plus applicable premium. Actual pay rate will be based on the individual candidate's credentials and experience for the role with CareRx.
