Job Summary:

Tony's Fresh Market is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Order Selector to join our team in the Distribution Center. As an Order Selector, you will play a critical role in ensuring that customers receive their orders accurately and in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Retrieve ordered items from the Distribution Center's picking area and prepare them for shipment.
  • Identify items using an RF scanner and ensure accurate quantities are picked.
  • Build and wrap pallets safely and securely.
  • Label pallets correctly and place them on the designated staging area.
  • Comply with OSHA safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse and report any violations.
  • Complete tasks assigned by the RF scanner or DC Manager.

Requirements:

  • 1+ year of experience in a warehouse environment.
  • Teamwork-oriented and self-motivated individual.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to use a reach/forklift and pallet jack.
  • Good attendance and punctuality, with a strong commitment to working scheduled shifts and mandatory overtime.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member is required to stand for long periods of time. Additional requirements include frequent lifting of material up to 75 pounds, frequent twisting, turning, reaching, pushing, and pulling, and handling tools or controls.

Work Environment:

The work is normally performed in a warehouse/production environment. As part of the job requirements, Team Members may be exposed to work in a production setting and extreme temperatures (10 to 100 degrees) at times. The facility regularly processes known food allergens, including peanuts. Must be flexible with work schedule that supports a 24-hour production facility. Schedule may include weekends and overtime.
