Job Title: Inventory Coordinator

Job Type: 1-year contract (possibility of extensions)

Location: Etobicoke, ON

Hours: 37.5 hrs per week

Hourly Rate: $24/hr


Position Summary:

Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, the Inventory Coordinator will be responsible for managing Mobility Radio inventory. This role involves interfacing with various Project team members and warehouse team members to manage the deployment of material from the warehouse to sites using established process methodologies.


Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement daily forecasting and replenishment strategies to ensure in-stock levels.
  2. Track orders and ensure timely receiving and expediting, where necessary.
  3. Facilitate store returns and recalls, and transfer stock between stores as required to reduce inventory levels.
  4. Communicate order status and issues to Project team members in a timely manner.
  5. Launch new products and identify areas of opportunity to drive business growth.
  6. Solve inventory-related problems and conduct regular reviews of Work-In-Progress (WIP) to ensure in-stock levels.
  7. Assist in the execution of inventory management tactics and provide recommendations to improve or meet business targets.
  8. Optimize inventory productivity and manage the volume of work to provide cost-effective use of resources.
  9. Collaborate with relevant teams to ensure flawless execution.


Qualifications:
  1. Inventory management experience is an asset.
  2. Systems and process-oriented individual with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  3. APICS or CPP certification is an asset.
  4. Knowledge of SAP is an asset.
  5. Excellent oral and written communication skills, including report preparation.
  6. Strong team player with strong organizational and time management skills.
  7. Excellent problem-solving and analytical ability.
