Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Store Management to achieve sales budgets and daily sales goals
  • Meet or exceed personal sales targets and key performance indicators
  • Provide outstanding customer service and utilize Fundamental Selling Skills to drive sales
  • Maintain store operations standards, including opening and closing procedures, markdowns, and point of sale transactions
  • Promote Campaign Goals and sell Northern as a brand
  • Coach and provide feedback to Store Associates on personal productivity measures
  • Process customer purchases quickly and accurately at the cash register
  • Demonstrate open, respectful, and courteous communication
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Follow Company directives and initiatives and work in a safe and secure manner
  • Assist in store visual layouts and maintain visual standards
  • Assist in preparation of product and maintain a neat, clean, and well-presented store

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1 year retail/customer service experience in a specialty store, preferably apparel with some exposure to team leadership
  • Proven ability to attain or exceed sales goals and demonstrate initiative
  • Passionate about fashion and proven ability to build outfits for customers
  • Demonstrates strong communication skills and ability to work independently with confidence
  • Flexible and able to work flexible hours to match business needs
  • Ability to adapt to the needs of the customer and store team
  • Builds relationships, trust, and loyalty
