Job Title: IP Litigation Lawyer

We are seeking an experienced IP Litigation Lawyer to join our team in Toronto, Ontario. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of intellectual property law and experience in litigation, including motion practice and preparing related agreements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Correspond with clients and opposing counsel
  • Analyze and summarize legal documents
  • Supporting attorneys and staff within the practice groups department
  • Legal research and drafting of a wide range of legal documents
Requirements:
  • Command of trademark intellectual property
  • Solid understanding of intellectual property
  • Litigation intellectual property experience preferred
  • Proficiency in patent intellectual property
  • Ability to thrive in a high-paced environment, requiring exceptional organizational skills, juggling client matters, and adhering to strict deadlines
  • Excellent academic credentials and references
  • Licensed attorney, called to the Bar in Ontario
  • Attention to detail and proven ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement
  • Strong communication and social skills
  • Must possess analytical, legal research and writing skills
