UHN Research is a leading institution dedicated to advancing applied health sciences. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Professor to join our esteemed Cardiovascular Perfusion (CVP) program. This program is recognized as one of the largest and most comprehensive in Canada, focusing on training the next generation of cardiovascular perfusionists.

As a Professor in the CVP program, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the educational experience of our students. Your primary responsibilities will include teaching, course design, assessment, and continuous quality improvement initiatives. You will also have the opportunity to engage in clinical practice and research, contributing to the advancement of cardiovascular health.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and deliver high-quality educational content in the CVP program.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance course/program design and evaluation.
  • Participate in clinical work and research initiatives at UHN.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of three years of experience as a perfusionist is preferred.
  • Current certification from the Canadian Society of Clinical Perfusion (CSCP) or American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion (ABCP).
  • Master's degree in Cardiovascular Perfusion or a related field is highly desirable.
  • Active membership in relevant professional associations.
  • Demonstrated clinical expertise and ongoing professional development.
  • Successful completion of a Canadian Police Clearance document required upon hire.
