Position Overview
As a senior leader in community engagement, you will oversee the performance of multiple RBC branches, ranging from small to large operations within the community.
Your primary focus will be to guide your branches and collaborate with RBC partners to provide outstanding client experiences, attract new clients, enhance market share, bolster community brand visibility, and achieve sustainable growth.
This will be accomplished through the implementation of a comprehensive community strategy that involves all branches and RBC partners. You will play a crucial role in the community, enhancing RBC's presence, expanding your network, and identifying key business opportunities.
Your dedication to fostering success for our clients, employees, and communities is fundamental to your effectiveness in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead direct reports and work in tandem with dedicated RBC partners to seize market opportunities and drive robust business performance.
- Directly manage one branch while indirectly overseeing others in the community, and cultivate leadership skills among direct reports.
- Develop and execute a community strategy that leverages all roles and channels available.
- Propel acquisition and growth initiatives within the community, both inside and outside the branch, to attract clients and enhance market share in a competitive landscape.
- Ensure an exceptional client experience where advisory services and digital capabilities serve as the compelling value proposition.
- Act as a connector and leader within RBC and the broader community.
- Understand and manage various risks including strategic, reputational, operational, credit, and regulatory compliance risks, while demonstrating the ability to manage remotely.
- Exhibit agility in leadership with experience in community involvement, such as serving on boards or committees.
- Completion of an acceptable mutual fund branch management exam offered by the CSI, or the ability to take the exam within four months of starting.
- Experience in public speaking or media training.
