Position OverviewSenior Analyst, Franchise Acceptance Performance
SUMMARY
The Franchise Acceptance Performance Team is dedicated to maintaining and enhancing the integrity of the Mastercard brand and network by ensuring compliance with Mastercard Standards among customers. This team oversees various global performance initiatives and programs, focusing strategically on improving the acceptance of Mastercard products and delivering an exceptional cardholder experience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Drive performance initiatives to tackle critical acceptance challenges, promote appropriate customer behavior, and ensure high-quality interactions at Points of Interaction (POI) and cardholder experiences.
- Conduct investigations to support the Acceptor Business Code (MCC) Performance program.
- Manage cases from initiation to resolution, engaging with both internal and external stakeholders, analyzing data, deriving insights, and educating on program requirements and procedures.
- Independently identify performance challenges, devise and implement resolution strategies, and coordinate with relevant groups that may be affected.
- Proactively address issues and make recommendations to facilitate progress and resolution.
- Effectively manage, enhance, automate, and streamline operational processes and procedures.
- Build and leverage relationships with key stakeholders to identify opportunities and ensure prompt and effective issue resolution.
- Identify regional or global trends and assist in developing key performance metrics and reporting.
- Complete ad hoc requests, engage in special projects as needed, and provide cross-functional support.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Understanding of electronic payment processing and card brand networks.
- Experience in analyzing and managing merchant risk and/or onboarding processes.
- Proven experience in conducting investigations, with the ability to document and articulate findings clearly, a keen eye for detail, and strong intuition.
- Critical thinking skills paired with robust analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to engage with high-level internal and external contacts.
- Self-driven, capable of working independently and taking initiative to advance cases and develop solutions.
- Strong attention to detail, highly organized, and able to manage multiple tasks while following complex processes.
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, prioritize tasks effectively, meet deadlines consistently, and deliver outstanding results.
- High level of integrity and discretion, with an understanding of the importance of handling sensitive and confidential information responsibly.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access; experience with SQL, Power BI, Tableau, Domo, or similar business intelligence tools is advantageous.
