Executive Chef Assistant

We are a dynamic and fast-paced restaurant and bar establishment seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Executive Chef Assistant to join our culinary team.
Job SummaryThe Executive Chef Assistant will be responsible for assisting the Executive Chef in the preparation and cooking of complete meals and individual dishes, as well as maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities- Food Preparation and Cooking: Assist the Executive Chef in preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes, including special meals for patients as instructed by the dietitian or chef.
- Inventory Management: Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, and order supplies and equipment as needed.
- Cleanliness and Organization: Clean the kitchen and work areas, and maintain a clean and organized environment.
- Customer Service: Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, and provide excellent customer service.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Work Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a kitchen environment.
- Work Setting: Restaurant and bar establishment.
- Transportation: Own transportation.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, stand for extended periods, and work under pressure.
- Personal Suitability: Client focus, dependability, flexibility, initiative, judgement, organized, reliability, team player, and time management skills.
- Health Benefits: Health care plan.
- Work Schedule: 35 to 40 hours per week.
- Language: English.
