About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to work in a 65-bed acute care community hospital with an 18-bed emergency department. You will be part of a dedicated and progressive team of emergency physicians who are committed to delivering exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities- Provide emergency medical care to patients of all ages
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care
- Participate in regular teaching opportunities with medical students and residents
- Contribute to the development and implementation of departmental policies and procedures
To be successful in this role, you must hold CCFP-EM or FRCPC Emergency Medicine certification and be eligible for full licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of BC. You should also have experience working in a community hospital emergency department and be comfortable with single coverage and crisis call-in volume.
