About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Support Worker to join our team at Jaswinder Kang. As a Home Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing personalized care and support to our clients in the comfort of their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Personal Care: Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and other aspects of personal hygiene, promoting their independence and dignity.
  • Companionship: Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, helping to alleviate feelings of loneliness and isolation.
  • Household Management: Assist with light housekeeping, cleaning, and laundry duties, maintaining a safe and healthy living environment.
  • Meal Preparation: Prepare and serve nutritious meals, taking into account clients' dietary needs and preferences.
  • Errands and Shopping: Accompany clients on errands and shop for groceries and household supplies, ensuring they have access to essential items.
  • Therapeutic Support: Assist with planning and implementing therapeutic diets and menus, promoting clients' physical and emotional well-being.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience in a related field is an asset.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
