About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Services Manager to lead our operations team at SUBWAY. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our restaurants, driving sales growth, and delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Management
    • Determine the type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures to meet customer demands.
    • Cost products and services to ensure profitability and competitiveness.
  • Financial Management
    • Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms to ensure accurate financial reporting.
    • Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies to optimize costs.
  • Team Leadership
    • Supervise a team of 3-4 people to ensure effective communication, training, and development.
    • Conduct performance reviews to identify areas for improvement and provide coaching and feedback.
  • Customer Service
    • Address customers' complaints or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
    • Provide exceptional customer service to drive sales growth and customer loyalty.
  • Operational Excellence
    • Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
    • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Marketing and Sales
    • Participate in marketing plans and implementation to drive sales growth and brand awareness.
    • Negotiate with clients for catering or use of facilities to increase revenue.
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Organize and maintain inventory to ensure efficient stock management.
    • Ensure accurate and timely completion of administrative tasks, such as balance sheets and cash reports.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Skills
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
    • Strong leadership and team management skills.
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
    • Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
    • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
Working Conditions

This is a physically demanding role that requires standing for extended periods and working in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a team and maintain a high level of productivity in a dynamic environment.
