Key Responsibilities- Advise supervisors on ingredient or product deficiencies to ensure conformance to company standards.
- Take samples of products at various stages of processing to monitor quality and safety.
- Examine ingredients or finished products to ensure they meet quality and safety requirements.
- Conduct routine tests for product specifications to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Ensure hygiene and sanitation practices conform to policies and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
- Visually inspect products for quality and identify any defects or irregularities.
- Maintain quality control and production records to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement quality management and quality assurance standards to ensure consistency and excellence in our products.
- College/CEGEP education in a relevant field.
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related role.
- Safe Quality Foods (SQF) Certificate.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Physical ability to perform repetitive tasks, stand for long periods, and lift up to 25 pounds.
