Fruit and Vegetable Quality Control Specialist

Sandy Shore Farms Limited is seeking a skilled Fruit and Vegetable Quality Control Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our quality control team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards for our fresh produce.
Key Responsibilities:- Advise supervisors of ingredient or product deficiencies
- Take samples of products at various stages of processing
- Examine ingredients or finished products to ensure conformance to company standards
- Conduct routine tests for product specifications
- Ensure hygiene and sanitation practices conform to policies and regulations
- Visually inspect products for quality
- Maintain quality control and production records
- Maintain records and statistics
- Conduct quality control assessment of testing techniques
- Identifying and investigating compliance issues
- Inspect final products
- Develop quality management and quality assurance standards
- Safe quality foods (SQF) Certificate
- Repetitive tasks
- Attention to detail
