Fruit and Vegetable Quality Control Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Fruit and Vegetable Quality Control Specialist to join our team at Sandy Shore Farms Limited. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our fresh produce by conducting regular inspections and tests.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct regular inspections of fruits and vegetables to ensure they meet our quality standards
- Take samples of products at various stages of processing to test for quality and consistency
- Examine ingredients or finished products to ensure conformance to company standards
- Conduct routine tests for product specifications and ensure hygiene and sanitation practices conform to policies and regulations
- Visually inspect products for quality and maintain quality control and production records
- College/CEGEP education
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field
- Safe quality foods (SQF) Certificate
The successful candidate will work in a fruit and vegetable processing plant, with a combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, and kneeling. The work environment is fast-paced and requires attention to detail.
