Director of Sales and Revenue

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Sales and Revenue Manager to join our team at JRoss Recruiters. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and increasing market share through effective sales strategies and tactics.
Key Responsibilities- Sales and Revenue Growth: Develop and implement sales strategies to increase revenue and market share, including identifying new business opportunities and building relationships with key decision-makers.
- Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market analysis to understand competitor activity, economic trends, and customer needs, and use this information to inform sales strategies.
- Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of sales professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure they are equipped to meet sales targets.
- Marketing Initiatives: Participate in the conception and execution of marketing initiatives, including Internet marketing, email marketing, promotions, events, packaging, and partnerships.
- Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and analyze sales reports and activity data to identify trends and areas for improvement, and use this information to inform sales strategies.
- Hotel Representation: Represent the hotel at trade shows and sales blitzes, and ensure hotel representation at industry events.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of hotel sales experience, with a minimum of 5 years of Department Head leadership experience.
- Leadership Skills: Proven leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team to achieve sales targets.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to tailor a message to different audiences.
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically, with a focus on driving revenue growth and increasing market share.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and planning skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
