Unit Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Unit Coordinator to join our team at McLean Hospital. As a key member of our patient services team, you will be responsible for coordinating patient schedules, maintaining accurate medical records, and providing exceptional support to our clinical staff.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate Patient Schedules: Schedule tests, exams, and procedures, and ensure that all necessary documentation is completed and filed accurately.
- Maintain Accurate Medical Records: Assemble and maintain patient medical records, ensuring that all necessary information is complete and up-to-date.
- Provide Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to our clinical staff, including answering phone calls, responding to emails, and completing tasks as needed.
- Monitor and Maintain Unit Supplies: Monitor and maintain unit supplies, including ordering equipment and supplies as needed.
- Contribute to a Positive Work Environment: Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment by providing excellent customer service and working collaboratively with our team.
- Associate Degree or Equivalent Experience: An associate degree or equivalent experience is required for this role.
- Knowledge of Medical Terminology: Knowledge of medical terminology specific to the specialty is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required.
- Ability to Work Efficiently: The ability to work efficiently under pressure to meet deadlines is essential.
