We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team at EllisDon. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for driving business growth and development through proactive identification of new opportunities and successful closure of sales opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute business development strategies to achieve company goals
  • Lead the development of proposals, presentations, and brochure materials
  • Develop and actively track a sales pipeline, with monthly reporting to management
  • Drive business growth through proactively identifying new opportunities and successfully closing sales opportunities
  • Determine and implement creative business development strategies to positively contribute to the company's growth
  • Develop strong relationships with clients to ensure continual business growth within the company
  • Forecast staffing needs and corresponding skills, knowledge, and experience
Requirements:
  • Advanced knowledge of construction equipment, technology, methods, and typical procedures and standards
  • Direct experience in leading self-performed form work projects, planning, scheduling, managing productivity, and quality analysis
  • Working knowledge of union jurisdiction and labor agreements
  • Strong influencing and negotiation capabilities
  • Advanced knowledge of construction equipment rental and sales, with the ability to close and negotiate deals in conjunction with estimating and management of projects
