About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Engineer to join our team at Vans Group Ltd. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing water and waste management systems, conducting technical analyses, and ensuring construction plans meet guidelines and specifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Development: Plan and design water and waste management systems, including topographic, soil, hydrological, and other information.
  • Technical Analysis: Conduct technical analyses of survey and field data to determine project requirements.
  • Client Communication: Confer with clients and other members of the engineering team to determine project requirements.
  • Construction Planning: Develop construction specifications and procedures, ensuring construction plans meet guidelines and specifications of building codes and other regulations.
  • Project Management: Establish and monitor construction work schedules, evaluate and recommend appropriate building and construction materials.
  • Quality Control: Interpret, review, and approve survey and civil design work.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in structural engineering.
  • Certifications: Registration as a Professional Engineer (P. Eng.) by a provincial or territorial association.
  • Work Conditions: Attention to detail, work term: permanent, work language: English, hours: 32 hours per week.
