About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Engineer to join our team at Vans Group Ltd. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing water and waste management systems, conducting technical analyses, and collaborating with clients and colleagues to determine project requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Development: Plan and design water and waste management systems, ensuring compliance with building codes and regulations.
  • Technical Analysis: Conduct technical analyses of survey and field data to develop topographic, soil, hydrological, or other information, and prepare detailed reports.
  • Project Management: Confer with clients and other team members to determine project requirements, develop construction specifications, and establish and monitor construction work schedules.
  • Technical Expertise: Evaluate and recommend appropriate building and construction materials, interpret and review survey and civil design work, and ensure that construction plans meet guidelines and specifications.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in structural engineering.
  • Certifications: Registration as a Professional Engineer (P. Eng.) by a provincial or territorial association.
Work Environment
  • Work Term: Permanent.
