Accounting Bookkeeper Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Bookkeeper to join our team at INDER SANDHU ACCOUNTING & TAX SERVICES INC.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Manage fixed assets and depreciation, maintaining up-to-date records.
  • Keep financial records and establish, maintain, and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
  • Maintain general ledgers and financial statements, providing insights for business decisions.
  • Post journal entries, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
  • Prepare statistical, financial, and accounting reports, highlighting key performance indicators.
  • Prepare tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with tax regulations.
  • Reconcile accounts, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
  • Maintain inventory of equipment, ensuring optimal utilization.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience in accounting and bookkeeping, with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in accounting software, MS Excel, MS Word, and QuickBooks.
  • Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with a willingness to learn and grow.
Work Environment:
