Key Responsibilities:

  • Collecting and entering client information into financial planning tools.
  • Creating presentations for client consultations.
  • Revising client plans and assessing them as situations evolve.
  • Spotting opportunities to enhance and solidify client relationships (e.g., insurance, banking, etc.).
  • Assisting in the preparation of client files prior to meetings.
  • Collaborating with clients during meetings alongside the Senior Financial Consultant.
  • Processing new business by completing and submitting necessary applications.
  • Supporting the Financial Consultant and team in formulating recommendations for clients.
  • Identifying additional ways to assist current clients.
  • Monitoring active tasks or projects and ensuring their completion.

Qualifications:

  • A diploma in Business Administration or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • A Mutual Fund or Securities (RR) license and LLQP certification (or willingness to obtain).
  • Experience in a financial planning role and familiarity with financial planning software.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • A strong customer service focus, with a proven ability to engage professionally with clients, both over the phone and in person.
  • Outstanding organizational and time management abilities, with a capacity to adapt to shifting priorities and deadlines.
