We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Program Manager at Good Shepherd Centres. This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals and families.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage a dynamic team of professionals to provide high-quality support services to tenants in a supportive housing setting.
- Develop and implement effective program operations that promote tenant well-being and independence.
- Collaborate with community partners and stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery and continuity of care.
- Provide leadership and guidance to staff on trauma-informed and recovery best practices, as well as risk management and crisis intervention.
- Manage staff performance, recruitment, and training, ensuring a skilled and motivated team.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with mental health and other service providers to ensure continuity and consistency of service to tenants.
- Ensure compliance with Good Shepherd's Health and Safety programs, procedures, and regulations.
- Post-secondary education in social or health sciences.
- Minimum of 5 years' progressive experience in mental health, supportive housing, and community collaboration.
- Management/supervisory experience and demonstrated skills in developing, mentoring, and dealing with performance-related issues.
- Ability to provide on-going support and risk management to the 24-hour staffed supportive housing program.
- Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
- Committed to anti-racist/anti-oppressive practice and to the mission and values of Good Shepherd.
- Demonstrated understanding of workplace health and safety practices and understanding of an employer's responsibility under current legislation.
