Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  1. Centre Operations: Ensure the efficient and effective operation of the centre, including key holding, opening, and closing procedures.
  2. Team Management: Coordinate the deployment of staff, provide guidance and support, and conduct performance management and development activities.
  3. Customer Service: Deliver a welcoming and professional front-of-house experience, ensuring customer satisfaction and resolving any issues promptly.
  4. Event Management: Assist in the development and management of a well-balanced activity and event programme, ensuring a diverse range of activities and events for our members and visitors.
  5. Training and Development: Provide induction, training, and development opportunities for staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
  6. Financial Management: Perform cash reconciliation and banking duties, ensuring accurate and timely financial management.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous supervisory or management experience in a leisure or gym environment.
  • Ability to pass a lifeguard qualification (candidates without the NPLQ will need to complete a pool test).
  • Pool Plant Operators and FAW qualifications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
