About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Home Support Worker to join our team at Young Family. As a Home Support Worker, you will provide essential care and companionship to our elderly clients in the comfort of their own homes.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with regular exercise, such as walking, to promote physical well-being
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a safe and healthy environment
  • Provide companionship and social interaction to combat loneliness and isolation
  • Offer personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Shop for food and household supplies to ensure our clients' basic needs are met
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals to promote healthy eating habits
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Will train for the role
  • CPR Certificate
  • First Aid Certificate
Work Environment

As a Home Support Worker, you will work in the employer's home, providing one-on-one care and support to our clients. This is a permanent position, working 35 hours per week.

Language

The primary language spoken in this role is English.
