Food Service Team Lead

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at A&W. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading a team of food service staff and ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, including food preparation, portioning, and presentation.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
- Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation and ensure that inventory levels are maintained.
- Hire and manage food service staff, including conducting performance evaluations and providing feedback.
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards and address customer complaints or concerns in a professional manner.
- Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and prepare and submit reports as required.
- Establish work schedules and ensure that staff are aware of their responsibilities and deadlines.
- 3-4 years of experience in a food service environment, preferably in a supervisory role.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and train staff.
- Strong problem-solving and time management skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of productivity.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
