About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Roofing Specialist to join our team at Pocklington Building Systems Ltd. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for installing and repairing metal roofs, as well as erecting and installing scaffolding and other working platforms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and repair metal roofs using hand and power tools
  • Erect and install scaffolding, falsework, and other working platforms
  • Install sheet metal flashings
  • Work at heights, in noisy, dusty, and potentially dangerous environments
Requirements
  • Other trades certificate or diploma
  • Will train or equivalent experience
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Own transportation and vehicle
  • Steel-toed safety boots
  • Tools
Work Environment

You will be working in a fast-paced environment with a large workload, requiring overtime and repetitive tasks. You must be physically demanding and able to handle heavy loads, up to 45 kg (100 lbs). You will also be working outdoors in various locations, including commercial, industrial, and residential settings.
