About the Role

Pinnacle International Hotels & Resort Inc. is seeking a skilled Building Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our properties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform Routine Maintenance: Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems, and contact tradespersons for major repairs.
  • Coordinate Repairs and Maintenance: Contact contractors for repairs and maintenance of the establishment, ensuring timely and cost-effective solutions.
  • Perform Minor Repairs: Repair and maintain appliances, ensuring they are in good working condition.
  • Conduct Safety and Security Checks: Perform regular safety and security checks to identify and mitigate potential risks.
  • Supervise Other Workers: Supervise and guide other maintenance staff to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Move Heavy Equipment and Supplies: Safely move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies as needed.
  • Perform Other Routine Maintenance Tasks: Perform other routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair, as required.
  • Work with Minimal Supervision: Work independently with minimal supervision, using your expertise and judgment to make decisions.
  • Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced hotel environment, with a focus on providing excellent customer service and ensuring the highest standards of maintenance and repair.
