Senior Consultant SR&ED Expert

BDO Canada is seeking a highly skilled Senior Consultant SR&ED to join our team in the SR&ED and Government Incentives department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading and supporting client engagements in the manufacturing, natural resources, and clean technology/environmental industries.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and support SR&ED client engagements, collaborating with BDO SR&ED industry teams across Canada
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service and timely consulting services
- Examine client operations and processes to determine eligibility for grants, tax credits, and funding programs
- Communicate effectively with team members regarding progress updates and issues
- Provide clients with professional advice on documentation and compliance with SR&ED program requirements
- Gather internal and external client resources utilization and assist with costing activities
- Assist clients during technical reviews with the CRA
- University degree and/or strong technical expertise in a specific field of science and engineering (B.Sc., M.Sc. or PhD)
- Recognized subject matter expert with 2+ years of SR&ED experience
- Excellent technical writing skills and strong editorial capabilities
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
