About the Role

BDO Canada is seeking a highly skilled Senior Consultant/Manager to join our SR&ED and Government Incentives team in Calgary. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading and supporting client engagements in the manufacturing, natural resources, and clean technology/environmental industries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and support SR&ED client engagements, collaborating with BDO SR&ED industry teams across Canada
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service and timely consulting services
  • Examine client operations and processes to determine eligibility for grants, tax credits, and funding programs
  • Communicate progress updates and issues with team members on an ongoing basis
  • Provide clients with professional advice on documentation and compliance with SR&ED program requirements
  • Gather internal and external client resources utilization and assist with costing activities
  • Assist clients during technical reviews with the CRA
