Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Bookkeeping Specialist to join our team at Blondie Cleaners (2013) Ltd. As a key member of our accounting team, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Accounting Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting standards, including GAAP and tax laws.
  • Payroll and Benefits: Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, manage accounts payable, and perform administrative tasks.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months or equivalent experience.
  • Skills: MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Windows, MS Word, Quick Books, SAP (FI/CO / HR / MM / OT SD), Simply Accounting, MS Office.
Work Environment

This is a permanent position with a work language of English and a work term of 30 to 50 hours per week.
