About the Role

CGR Employment Solutions Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Bookkeeping Clerk to join our team. As a Bookkeeping Clerk, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and performing various bookkeeping tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
  • Payroll Administration: Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, ensure accurate and timely payment of employees.
  • Accounting and Bookkeeping: Keep financial records and establish, maintain, and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
  • Tax Compliance: Prepare tax returns and ensure compliance with all tax regulations.
  • Financial Analysis: Prepare trial balance of books and reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in bookkeeping or a related field.
  • Skills: Attention to detail, fast-paced environment, repetitive tasks, tight deadlines, and work under pressure.
  • Personal Qualities: Accurate, client focus, dependability, excellent written communication, organized, and team player.
Work Environment

This is a permanent position with 40 hours per week. The work language is English.
