Position Overview

As part of our Strategic Partnerships Sales Division within the Institutional Sales and Service Department, we are looking for a District Sales Associate. This role plays a crucial part in supporting our sales teams and the Director of Partner Sales by providing essential administrative assistance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage territory operations by preparing, maintaining, and forecasting sales coverage.
  • Coordinate corporate events, branch meetings, and presentations from product managers.
  • Order promotional materials for clients and manage various correspondences.
  • Prepare client reports and continuing education credit letters.
  • Handle incoming client communications, including mail and emails, and respond to inquiries.
  • Assist in organizing special events and CRM campaigns, and participate in team social events.
  • Maintain client data within the CRM system.
  • Conduct weekly team meetings with prepared agendas.
  • Arrange travel logistics for sales teams.
  • Present monthly reports to the Director of Partner Sales.
  • Manage Sales Practices requests and team expenses.
  • Implement processes to improve territory management efficiency.
  • Provide operational support with a strong focus on detail and time management.

Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education in a relevant field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Professional phone etiquette and exceptional interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and independently.
  • Knowledge of the mutual fund industry is advantageous.
  • Preferred certifications in CSC/IFC and familiarity with National Instrument NI.
  • Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms.
  • Familiarity with Mackenzie products and processing guidelines.
