Disability Case Manager II

Co-operators is seeking a skilled Disability Case Manager II to join our Group Benefits team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for adjudicating and managing disability claims, ensuring timely and accurate processing of benefits.
Key Responsibilities:- Review and assess eligibility for disability benefits, developing case management plans to minimize claim durations.
- Communicate with claimants, employers, third-party treatment providers, and physicians to gather necessary information and ensure compliance with recommendations.
- Proactively manage claims to achieve successful return-to-work outcomes, utilizing available resources to ensure appropriate diagnosis and treatment.
- Clear and comprehensive communication with all stakeholders, including claimants, employers, and internal staff.
- Post-secondary degree in Kinesiology, Psychology, Disability Management, or a related discipline (an asset).
- Associate, Life and Health Claims (ALHC) designation (an asset).
- 3-5 years of related experience.

Expected Salary Range: $57,375 -- $95,625
