As a Case Manager, you will be part of a collaborative team dedicated to delivering exceptional care and support to our clients and customers. Your expertise will be instrumental in facilitating the recovery and return to work of employees on medical leave, while ensuring seamless services and programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Adjudicate and manage short-term and long-term disability absences, ensuring timely and effective support.
  • Facilitate the recovery and return to work of employees through functionally focused telephone interviews and regular documentation.
  • Liaise with employees, third parties, employers, and healthcare professionals to progress recovery and facilitate timely return to work.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor return to work plans, coordinating referrals to appropriate health resources as needed.

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years' experience in disability management, insurance, or a health-related field with STD, LTD experience.
  • Disability Management Certificate/Diploma is preferred.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Kinesiology, or a related health discipline.
  • Knowledge of Disability Management principles, practices, and processes.
  • WCB experience is an asset.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Exceptional customer service delivery skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
