About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercialization Chef to join our team at HelloFresh. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for supporting the seamless transition of recipes from concept to commercial production.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and refine recipes for large-scale production, ensuring product quality and consistency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Production, Product, and Procurement, to test and launch new recipes.
  • Document cook process requirements and identify opportunities for improvement in quality and efficacy.
  • Work closely with the Culinary Team to bridge the gap between creative concepts and production realities.
  • Lead new equipment recommendation and justification, and conduct capacity studies to standardize procedures and create efficiencies in production.
Requirements
  • Degree or diploma in culinary arts, culinary science, or a similar field.
  • 2+ years of experience in corporate food R&D, food manufacturing, and/or large restaurant/banquet/catering.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with a track record of turning ideas into reality and meeting deadlines.
  • A process-driven individual, excited about developing processes at scale and ensuring adherence across a large operational body.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity, interested in solving problems autonomously and delivering impactful solutions.
  • Entrepreneurial with an ownership mindset, enjoying working in small teams and taking ownership of work.
  • Naturally curious, innovative, and creative, with a focus on improving processes and products.
  • Customer-centric, understanding how decision-making abilities impact internal and external customers.
