Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at The Grocery Store. As a key member of our culinary operations, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and service of food to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of a team of 5-10 staff members, including cooks and kitchen helpers.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
  • Food Quality and Safety
    • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
    • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation.
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
    • Prepare and submit reports.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Personal Qualities
    • Excellent oral communication skills.
    • Efficient interpersonal skills.
    • Flexibility and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Work Environment

The work site environment is noisy, and the successful candidate must be able to work effectively in this setting.
