Director, Technical Project Management

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director, Technical Project Management to join our team at Accoravillage. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and integrity of our audit processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct inspections of audit firms to ensure compliance with our inspection methodology.
  • Maintain control of assigned inspection work, meeting deadlines and conducting inspections efficiently and effectively.
  • Foster professional relationships with colleagues, firms, and external stakeholders to promote a positive image of our organization.
  • Prepare high-quality written reports and participate in inspection projects to enhance our processes.
  • Support stakeholder engagement and thought leadership initiatives.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 10 years of progressive public company accounting and audit experience at a Big Four or national accounting firm.
  • CPA designation is required.
  • In-depth technical knowledge of IFRS and Canadian Auditing Standards; US GAAP is an asset.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
  • Ability to travel, approximately up to 6 weeks per year.
