Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Associate Director, Technical Project Management to lead our strategic initiatives in Private Wealth. This role will be responsible for managing projects from initiation to implementation, ensuring successful business outcomes, and driving execution risk mitigation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead assigned projects from initiation to implementation, ensuring timely, within-budget, and high-quality delivery.
  • Develop and manage project plans, including resource allocation, budgeting, and risk management.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business needs and develop strategic plans to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Conduct independent analysis and assessment to resolve strategic issues and provide recommendations.
  • Manage financial forecasts and conduct ongoing reconciliation to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Direct and manage project teams, including project managers, business and technology resources, and external consultants and contractors.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including project sponsors, vendors, and regulatory organizations.
  • Provide guidance to project sponsors on project implementation and sustainment, ensuring successful project outcomes.
  • Ensure all project processes are completed, and change management plans are developed and measured to deliver expected project benefits and adoption.
  • Execute project requirements in governance frameworks focused on risk appetite, regulatory, and compliance standards.
  • Develop and maintain project management artifacts, complying with applicable enterprise standards.
  • Monitor and control project deliverables, making recommendations and adjustments to the overall project plan as needed.
Requirements
  • Typically 5-7 years of relevant experience and a post-secondary degree in a related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Project management experience, with a valid PMP designation from the Project Management Institute (PMI) an asset.
  • Stakeholder management, with in-depth knowledge and technical proficiency gained through extensive education and business experience.
