Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct patient care in alignment with established care plans, which includes executing interventions, applying behavior management techniques, and administering prescribed medications.
  • Monitor and identify changes in patient conditions, ensuring timely reporting and documentation.
  • Accurately gather and record comprehensive patient health information.
  • Enhance the physical and psychological health of patients by evaluating clinical needs, formulating care plans, and working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
  • Engage with team members and utilize additional resources for effective care planning.

Required Qualifications:

  • Active registration as a Registered Psychiatric Nurse or Registered Nurse in British Columbia.
  • Completion of a recognized nursing education program.
  • A minimum of one year of experience in a forensic or acute psychiatric care environment.
  • Current CPR certification is mandatory.
