Key Responsibilities
- Program Risk Analysis: Support the Project Management function through program risk analysis, particularly as associated with the risk to the government-Indigenous communities' relationship.
- Project Risk Assessments: Conduct project risk assessments to quickly assess associated risks and recommend courses of action to minimize inherent risks.
- Risk Mitigation and Management: Identify project risks and overall project risks, and recommend alternative solutions, methodologies, and strategies for risk mitigation and management.
- Risk Management Planning: Produce and update risk management plans to ensure effective risk management throughout the project life cycle.
- Risk Prioritization and Assignment: Assist in prioritization and assignment of risks, and assist in the development and/or implementation of Risk Management Plans.
- Risk Management Implementation: Manage the implementation of Risk Management Plans to identify, analyze, plan, track, and control project risks on a continuous basis.
- Risk Awareness and Mitigation: Coach, mentor, and train project teams in risk mitigation techniques to ensure a culture of risk awareness and mitigation.
Requirements
The successful candidate will have a strong background in risk management and project management, with experience in conducting risk assessments and developing risk management plans. They will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with project teams and stakeholders.
