Overview:
Join a dedicated team in a pivotal role as a Senior Policy Analyst. This position is designed for individuals who are passionate about program and policy development.
Key Responsibilities:
The Senior Policy Analyst will autonomously oversee designated program and policy initiatives, concentrating on the assessment and enhancement of existing Prevention and Loss Management programs and associated legislation.
Qualifications:
- A degree in business administration, public administration, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience in researching program-related issues and performing program analysis.
- Demonstrated ability to manage projects and/or specific project components.
- A minimum of two (2) years of experience in delivering programs, providing policy guidance, and making recommendations to management or executive levels within a public sector context.
- Experience in program delivery related to Prevention and Loss Management and Enforcement activities, including compliance and enforcement.
- Familiarity with ministry programs associated with relevant legislation and policies.
Work Environment:
This role offers flexible work arrangements, including the possibility of remote work up to one day per week, subject to an approved telework agreement.
Additional Information:
This position may be based in various offices within the Social Development & Poverty Reduction sector. An eligibility list may be created to address both current and future permanent vacancies.
