Job Title: Digital Analytics Specialist

Job Summary:

Nexus Systems Group Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Digital Analytics Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our digital analytics team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing digital analytics tracking, tagging, and targeting solutions for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design and Implement Digital Analytics Solutions: Determine the design and implementation of digital analytics tracking, tagging, and targeting solutions, and provide teams with code for implementation.
  2. Manage Analytical Accounts: Manage a variety of analytical accounts across multiple geographies, primarily Adobe Analytics and Google Analytics.
  3. Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Collaborate with frontend developers, backend developers, and analytic teams to build solutions for measurement of client platforms.
  4. Support Campaign Requirements: Support campaign requirements for pixel and conversion tracking and maintain any link tracking documents.
  5. Create Dashboards: Create dashboards using Adobe Analytics and Google Analytics.
  6. Develop Best Practices: Assist in the development and documentation of best practices for improving operational efficiencies within the digital analytics team.
  7. Perform Data Analysis: Proactively initiate, research, and perform data analysis and provide ad hoc reports to internal stakeholders on web usage, user engagement, and behavioral analytics on websites and email campaigns.
  8. Identify Trends and Insights: Identify patterns and trends in marketing results and online activity and report on findings.
  9. Analyze Digital Marketing Data: Analyze digital marketing data and user behavior patterns to provide valuable insight and to optimize user engagement and improve the effectiveness of marketing campaigns.
  10. Monitor Site and Campaign Traffic: Monitor site and campaign traffic and determine cross-promotion, cross-sell, and lead-gen opportunities.
  11. Familiarity with Tag Audit Tools: Familiarity with tag audit tools like ObservePoint and Tag Inspector.
  12. Identify Bugs and Erroneous Tags: Identify bugs and erroneous analytics tags and provide solutions to the development team.
  13. Advise on Digital Strategy: Work with Digital Channels to advise on our continually evolving digital strategy.
  14. Provide Technical Direction: Ability to provide clear and concise technical direction, expertise, advice, and tracking solutions to frontend developers, backend developers, and analytic teams to build tools for measurement of client platforms.

Requirements:

  1. Expertise in Adobe Analytics Implementation: Expertise in Adobe Analytics implementation using Adobe Launch tag manager and Adobe Mobile SDK.
  2. 2+ Years in Configuring Web and Mobile Analytics: 2+ years in configuring web and mobile/native app analytics for multiple clients.
  3. Expertise in Creating Dashboards: Expertise in creating dashboards in Adobe and transforming data from multiple sources.
  4. Good Understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript: Good understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  5. Experience Presenting Reports: Experience presenting reports and strategic recommendations to clients.

Nice to Have:

  1. Expertise in Google Analytics Implementation: Expertise in Google Analytics implementation using Google Tag Manager.
  2. Experience Working with Digital Advertising Platforms: Experience working with digital advertising platforms (Facebook Business Manager, Google Ads, DoubleClick Manager, AppNexus) and search engine optimization is an asset.
  3. Experience with Visualization Techniques: Experience with visualization techniques for data analysis and presentation.
  4. Working Knowledge of Power BI and Google Data Studio: Working knowledge of Power BI and Google Data Studio.
  5. Experience in the Financial Services Industry: Experience in the Financial Services industry is an asset.
